Ordering

  • How do I place an order?

    You can place an order anytime by calling (226-971-2336) or emailing (earlyqueenarrivals.mark@gmail.com) .

  • What if I need to change my order?

    We know that sometimes plans change. If you need to make changes to an order that has already been placed, please contact us as soon as possible.

  • Can a group of us place a single order so we can share the shipping costs?

    Sure thing! If you have friends or neighbours in your local area who also want to purchase queens you can place a group order and then just pay a single shipping fee to have them sent all together.

  • I am not based on Ontario, Canada. Can I still order queens from EQA?

    Absolutely! We ship queens all over Canada. Queens are usually shipped Air Canada Cargo or UPS (overnight) depending on the destination. We can put together a shipping quote for you if you need your queens shipped just let us know where you would like to pick them up.

Payment

  • Do I have to pay the full $ amount when I place my order?

    If you are ordering less than 100 queens, full payment is due within 30 days of receiving your invoice.

    If you are ordering more than 100 queens, a 50% deposit is due within 30 days of receiving your invoice with the remaining balance due upon queen arrival into Ontario. For queens that are being shipped from the GTA to any other location, the full balance must be paid before shipping.

    If you are ordering queens that are arriving within 10 days, full payment is required upon receipt of your invoice.

  • What forms of payment do you accept?

    Our preferred method of payment is cash, e-transfer, or certified cheque.

  • What information do I need to include if I am sending an e-transfer?

    E-transfers can be sent to earlyqueenarrivals.mark@gmail.com.

    It is very important that you include your name and/or the invoice number that you are making a payment on in the comments section of the e-transfer before sending it.

Pick up and Shipping

  • Where and when do I pick up my queens?

    Queens are required to be picked up the day of arrival (at the arrival airport - Toronto or Hamilton depending on the queens and week) or the very next day (at EQA in Peterborough, ON). Toronto airport pickups tend to be very late at night.

    Prompt pickup is necessary to optimize survival and to avoid forfeiture of the non-refundable livestock purchase.

    Keep an eye on your email as we approach your delivery week as Mark will keep you updated in case of any arrival delays or adjustments that need to be made to the scheduling in case of any unforeseen circumstances.

  • I am not able to pickup my queens. Can I have them shipped?

    If you are unable to pick up in Toronto, Hamilton, or Peterborough, we can ship your queens to you. Please contact us to get a shipping quote.

  • When will I know what day my queens will arrive and need to be picked up?

    Queen shipments work on a calendar week schedule. For example, this means that you may purchase queens that will be delivered in week 21 (May 20-25, 2024). We may not know exactly which day of that week your queens will arrive until the week before (and sometimes not until the week of). We recognize this can make planning difficult but arrivals depend on when our partners book your queens to depart as well as on the airline schedules.

    While we make every effort to ensure that our schedule is up to date, there are sometimes flight delays that can impact the weekly delivery schedules.
